Brake System Warning Light Your Buick's hydraulic brake systemis divided into two parts. If one part isn't part working, the other can still work and stop you. For good braking, though,you need both partsworking well. BRAKE If the warning light comes on, there could be a brake problem. Have your brake system inspected right away. This light should come on briefly you start the as so it vehicle. If it doesn't come on then, have it fixed will be ready to warn you if there's a problem. If the light comes while you are driving,pull off the on road and stop carefully. You may notice that the pedal is harder topush. Or, the pedalmay go closer to the floor. It may take longer to stop. If the light is still on, ifor the anti-lock brake system warning light is flashing, have the vehicletowed for service. The brake system warning light will also come when on on you set your parking brake,and it will stay if your parking brake doesn't releasefully.
