Tachometer Fuel Gage I 5 I The optional tachometer tells you how fast the engine is going. It displays engine speed in thousands of revolutions per minute ( r p ) . NOTICE: Do not operate the engine with the tachometer in the red area or engine damage may occur. Your fuel gage shows about how much fuel is in your tank. It works only when the engine is on. When the indicator nears E (empty), you still have a little fuel left. You need to get more fuel right away. 2-54
