k!,CAUTION: Air bags inflate with great force, faster thanthe blink of an eye. I you're too close an inflating f to air bag, it could seriouslyinjure you. Safety belts help keepyou in position beforeand during a crash. Always wear your safety belt, even with air bags. The driver should sit asfar back as possible while still maintaining control of the vehicle. AIR BAG There isan air bag readiness light on the instrument panel, which shows AIR .BAG. I A CAUTION: The system checks air bag electrical system for the malfunctions. Thelight tells you if there is anelectrical problem. See "Air Bag Readiness Light" in the Index for more information. An inflating air bag can seriously injure small children. Always secure children properly in your vehicle.
