Central Door Unlocking System From outsidethe vehicle, if the driver's door key is held in the unlock position for more than two seconds,or, if the key is turnedto the unlock position twice within three seconds, all doors electronically unlock. will Door Ajar Reminder(If Equipped) If your Park Avenue is equipped with the Driver Information Center (DIC), a door is fully and not closed, the DICwill display a DOOR AJAR message. Power DoorLocks With power door locks, you can lockor unlock all doors of your vehicle by using either the driver or front passenger power door lock switch. Memory Door Locks Close your doors andturn on the ignition. Every time you move your shift lever outof PARK (P), all of the doors will lock. And, every time you stop and move your shift lever intoPARK (P), your doors will unlock. If someone needs to get outwhile you're not in PARK (P), have that person use the manual or power lock. When the door isclosed again, it will not lock automatically. Just use the manual or power lock to lock the dooragain.
