CLEANING THE TOP OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL Use only mild soap and water to clean the top surfaces instrument of the panel. Sprays containing silicones waxes may cause annoying or reflections in the windshield and even make difficult to see through the it windshield under certain conditions. Care o Wood Panels f Use a cleancloth moistened in warm soapy water (use mild dish washing soap). Dry the wood immediately with a clean cloth. Wood surfaces can be polished using ordinaryhousehold furniture on polishes. Applythe polish to aclean cloth, then rub the cloth the wood panel. CARE OF SAFETYBELTS Keep belts clean anddry. A CAUTION: Do not bleach ordye safety belts. If you do, it may severely weaken them. In a crash they might notbe able to provide adequate protection. Clean safetybelts only with mildsoap and luE varm water. GLASS Glass should be cleaned often. GM Glass Cleaner (GM Part No. 1050427) or a liquid householdglass cleaner will remove normal tobacco smoke and dustfilms. Don't use abrasive cleaners glass, because theymay cause scratches. on Avoid placing decalson the inside rear window, since they may have to be scraped off later. If abrasive cleaners are used on the inside of the rear window, an electric defogger element may be damaged. Any temporary license should not be attached across defogger grid. the 319
