Wiper Blade Replacement It's a good idea clean or replace the wiper blade to assembly on a regular basis when worn. For proper or "Normal windshield wiper blade length and type, see Maintenance ReplacementParts" later in this section. To replace the wiper blade assembly: 1. Turn the ignition key toACCESSORY and turn the in wipers on. Position the wipers on the windshield the "mid" wipe position. Then with the door open, turn the keyto OFF. 2. Insert a screwdriver into the slot as shown and press down to release the wiper blade assembly. 3. Align the wiper a m pin with the hole on the wiper r blade assembly andsnap it into place to install. 6-35
