Removing the Flat Tire and Installing the Spare Tire A.CAUTION: Getting under a vehicle when it is jacked upis dangerous. If the vehicle slips off the jack,you could be badly injured killed. Never get under or a vehicle when it is supported only by a jack. I A CAUTION: 1. Using the wheel wrench, loosen all the wheel nuts. Don't remove them yet. 2. Turn the jack handle to the rightto raise thejack lift head a few inches. Raising yourvehicle with the jack improperly positioned can damage thevehicle and even make thevehicle fall.To help avoid personal injury andvehicle damage, be sure fit the jack to lift head into the proper location before raising the vehicle. 5-28
