If the fuel supply gets down to approximately 3 gallons (11.4 L), the number "3" will be displayed on the fuel gage, and the FUEL LEVEL LOW message will appear on the Driver Information Center (DIC). (On the analog fuel gage, the FUEL LEVEL LOW message will also appear.) If the fuel level is less than approximately 3 gallons (11.4 L) from being empty, the letter "E" is shown.
