The beverage retainer is removable to allow for storage of other items in the compartment when not in use as a cooler. STORAGE Beverage Cooler/Storage Compartment - If Equipped NOTE: The Beverage Cooler can keep chilled beverages cool depending on ambient temperature and climate control setting. The cooler is intended for non-perishable beverages only. The Beverage Cooler/Storage Compartment is located on the passenger's side of the instrument panel above the glove compartment.
