Hood Release To openthe hood, first pull thehandleinsidethevehicleonthelowerleft side of theinstrumentpanel.Then go tothefront of thevehicleandrelease the secondary hood release. Lift thehood,releasethehoodpropfrom its retainer and put the hood propintotheslot in thehood. Youmay have a lightthatcomesonwhenyou lift thehood. Before closing thehood,besure all thefillercapsare thehood to relievepressure on thehoodprop. on properly.Then lift Removethehoodpropfromtheslot in the hood and returnthe prop to its retainer.Then just pull the hooddown and close it firmly. 6-8
