Running Your Engine While You're Parked It's better not to park with the engine running. if you But ever have to, here are somethings to know. A CAUTION: . - I CAUTION: Idling the engine withthe air system controloff could allow dangerous exhaust your vehicle into (see theearlier Caution under "Engine Exhaust"). Also, idling ina closed-in placecan let deadly carbon monoxide (CO)into your vehicle even if the fan switch isat the highest setting. One place tkiis can happen is a garage.
