Safety belts help keepyou in position beforeand duringa crash. Always wear your safety belt, even with air bags. The driver should sit as far back as possible while still maintaining control of the vehicle. Children who are up against, or very close to,an air bag when it inflates can be seriouslyinjured lap-shoulder belts offer or killed. Air bags plus the best protection for adults and older children, but not for young children and infants. Neither the vehicle's safety belt system its air bag nor system is designed them. Young children and for infants need the protection that a child restraint system can provide. Always secure children properly in your vehicle.
