Push and pull the child seat forward and from side-to-side to verify that it is secure. 9. Reinstall the dual deck cargo shelf. Using the Center LATCH TETHER ANCHOR TETHER ANCHOR CENTER LOWER ANCHORS COVER TETHER STRAP HOOK To install a LATCH-compatible child seat in the rear center seating position, use the center lower anchors as shown above. 1. Follow step 1 through 5 as described previously to secure the child seat. 2. Pull down the cover to access the tether anchor. 3. Route the tether strap over the seat-back, then attach the tether strap hook to the tether anchor in the ceiling, making sure the strap is not twisted. Tighten the strap according to the seat maker's instructions. 4. Push and pull the child seat forward and from side-to-side to verify that it is secure. 46
