DO-IT-YOURSELF MAINTENANCE 6 27 (3) (2) (1) HXDFL1010 HXDFL1009 HXDFL1013-1 5. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the headlight. 6. Turn the plastic cover counterclockwise and remove it. 8. Remove the protective cap from the replacement bulb and install the new bulb by matching the plastic base with the headlight hole. Retighten the bulb spring and reconnect the power cord. 9. Use the protective cap and carton to promptly dispose of the old bulb. 10. Check for proper headlight aim. (1) High beam (2) Low beam (3) Front turn signal light HXDFL1011 7. Push the bulb spring to remove the headlight bulb.
