Maintenance and care Replacing liftgate tail lamp bulb 1. Raise the liftgate and remove the lamp assembly nuts. 2. Carefully pull the lamp assembly outward to expose the electrical connector. 3. Remove the bulb assembly by turning counterclockwise. 4. Without turning, carefully pull out the bulb. Insert the glass end of the new bulb into the socket. When the grooves in the plastic base are aligned, push the bulb into the socket until the plastic base contacts the rear of the socket. 5. To complete installation of the liftgate lamp assembly, follow the removal procedures in reverse order. 165

Replacing liftgate tail lamp bulb
1. Raise the liftgate and remove the
lamp assembly nuts.
2. Carefully pull the lamp assembly
outward to expose the electrical
connector.
3. Remove the bulb assembly by
turning counterclockwise.
4. Without turning, carefully pull out
the bulb. Insert the glass end of the
new bulb into the socket. When the
grooves in the plastic base are
aligned, push the bulb into the
socket until the plastic base
contacts the rear of the socket.
5. To complete installation of the
liftgate lamp assembly, follow the
removal procedures in reverse order.
