Knowing Your Mazda Doors and Locks Replacing the transmitter battery 1. Insert a small screwdriver into the slot and gently pry open the transmitter. 3. Put in the new battery (CR2025 or the equivalent) with the positive pole ( ) facing down. Back cover 2. Remove the battery. CAUTION Do not press any buttons when replacing the battery. The electronic code could be altered and cause the keyless entry system to malfunction. If the keyless entry system fails to operate, contact an Authorized Mazda Dealer. 4. Remove the battery.
3.
Put in the new battery (CR2025 or the

Align the front and back covers and
snap the transmitter shut.
