Head restraint must be installed and positioned such that the top tether strap can pass freely between the head restraint and the top of seat back. Make sure the tether strap is not twisted. Fold backrest back until it locks in place. 1 Anchorage ring 2 Hook Anchorage rings 1 are located on the rear side of outer rear backrests. Prior to installing a tether strap, note the following steps: Open the trunk and release the backrest. Fold backrest forward. Warning! Warning! G Do not place powered-on laptops, cell phones and like electronic devices on the front passenger seat. Signals from such devices may interfere with the BabySmartTM1 system. Such signal interference may cause the PASS.
