Heated steering wheel* (SLK 280, SLK 350, Canada only) The steering wheel heating warms up the leather area of the steering wheel. The lever is on the lower left-hand side of the steering wheel. Switching on Switch on the ignition ( page 36). Turn switch at tip of lever in direction of arrow 1 and release it. The steering wheel is heated. Indicator lamp 2 comes on. i The steering wheel heating is temporarily suspended while indicator lamp 2 remains on when the temperature of the vehicle interior is above 86°F (30°C) the temperature of the steering wheel is above 95°F (35°C) 1 Switching on 2 Indicator lamp 3 Switching off When these conditions do not apply anymore, steering wheel heating continues. 288
