This is theABS system testingitself. You also may hear this during a hard stop. Your vehicle may have atraction control system that lmt wheel spin. You may feel the system working, or you may notice some noise, but is this normal. A TRACTION OFT warning light in the instrument cluster lets know if you your traction control system not is working. See the I d e x under Traction Control System Warning Light. To turn the system off, press theTRAC of CTRL switch located to the right the steering wheel while the vehicle is stopped. The TRACTION OFF warning light will come on and on. stay To turn the system backon, bring the the vehicle toa stop and press switch again. The warning light should off. go The system willalso turn itself on if you turn your ignitionoff and back on again.
