Trip Odometer Tachometer Your trip odometer (trip mode) tells you how far you have driven since you last reset it. To set it to zero, press the TRIP RESET button on the left side of the instrument panel. The tachometer displays the engine speed in thousands of revolutions per minute (rpm).
