Air Cleaner To check or replace the air filter: 1. Loosen the wing nut on the airduct. 2. Lift upon the two clips located on top of the filter cover. ~ Operating the engine with the air cleaner off can cause you or others to be burned. The air cleaner not only cleans theair, it stops flame the engine if backfires. If it isn't there, and the engine backfires, you could be burned.Don't drive with it off, and be careful working on the engine with the air cleaner off. NOTICE: 3. Disconnect duct and reposition while removing the side cover. Pull out the filter. Be sure toinstall the air filter install the cover tightly when you and are finished. If the air cleaner off, a backfire can cause is a damaging enginefire. And, dirt caneasily get into your engine, which will damage it. Always have the air cleaner in place when you're driving.
