Removing a Spare Tire with the Sliding Rear Convenience/Cargo Tray (Optional) The compact spare tire is located under the vehicle, ahead of the rear bumper. See "Compact Spare Tire" later in this section for more information about the compact spare. 4. Tilt the retainer at the end of the cable so it can be pulled up through the wheel opening. 5.
