3. Remove the bulb and replace it with the appropriate bulb. 4. Reinstall the bulb socket by turning it clockwise. 5. Reverse the steps to reinstall the lamp assembly. Center High-Mounted Stoplamp (CHMSL) To change a CHMSL bulb, do the following: 1. Remove the CHMSL cover by pulling down on the cover edges from inside the vehicle. 2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it. 3. Replace with the appropriate bulb. 4. Reinstall the bulb socket by turning it clockwise. 5. Replace the cover. 5-53
