Folding or Reclining the Seatbacks {CAUTION: If the seatback is not locked, it could move forward in a sudden stop or crash. That could cause injury to the person sitting there. Always push and pull on the seatback to be sure it is locked. To recline the seatback, lift up on the recliner lever located on the outboard side of the seat, then move the seatback to the desired position. To raise the seatback, lift up on the recliner lever without applying pressure to the seatback. Push and pull on the seatback to make sure it is locked in place. To fold the seatback forward, lift up fully on the recliner lever. Push the seatback forward until it is ﬂat. The armrests can be lowered or raised for easier entry or exit of the vehicle. If your vehicle has captain chairs with side impact airbags, they will have one armrest on the inboard side. 1-15
