HS0130 HS0131 2. Take out the screwdriver from the tool bag. 3. Open the center console and remove two screws securing the parking brake lever cover. 4. Remove the parking brake lever cover by pulling up on the cover's rear end. 5. Raise the rear end of the selector lever cover. Shaft portion of the screwdriver HS0132 6. Draw the shaft portion of the screwdriver from the grip and then insert the shaft into the hole. 7. Push down on the shaft while pushing the release button and move the selector lever from the "P" to the "N" position. 8. Remove the shaft from the hole. Depress the brake pedal and start the engine. Take your vehicle to the nearest SUBARU dealer immediately to have the system repaired. 7-20

3. Open the center console and remove two screws securing the park-
ing brake lever cover.
4. Remove the parking brake lever cover by pulling up on the cover’s
rear end.
5.
Raise the rear end of the selector lever cover.

Draw the shaft portion of the screwdriver from the grip and then insert
the shaft into the hole.
7. Push down on the shaft while pushing the release button and move
the selector lever from the “P” to the “N” position.
8. Remove the shaft from the hole. Depress the brake pedal and start
the engine.
Take your vehicle to the nearest SUBARU dealer immediately to have the
system repaired.
