Therefore, it is recommended that Genuine Toyota Parts be used as replacement parts. Use of parts certified in accordance with aftermarket parts certification regulations for repairs and/or maintenance that are paid for by you will not affect the emission warranty coverage. However, use of replacement parts that are not of equivalent quality may impair the effectiveness of the emission control systems.
