'04 Tacoma U (L/O 0309) LOCKING AND UNLOCKING POWER DOOR LOCK SWITCH Push the switch. WITH To lock: Push the switch down on the front side. To unlock: Push the switch down on the rear side. All the doors lock or unlock simultaneously. All the doors cannot be unlocked with the power door lock switch by the following cases: LOCKING AND UNLOCKING INSIDE LOCK BUTTON Move the lock button. To lock: Push the button downward. To unlock: Pull the button upward. Closing the door with the lock button pushed in will also lock the door. On vehicles with power door lock system, the doors cannot be locked if you leave the key in the ignition switch. Be careful not to lock your keys in the vehicle.
