The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) airbags are designed to provide further protection for the driver and front passenger in addition to the primary safety protection provided by the seat belts. Vehicles with bench type front seats: The SRS airbags are designed to protect the driver and front outside passenger, and they are not designed to protect an occupant in the front center seating position.
