'06 HIGHLANDER HB_U (L/O 0503) When the instrument panel lights are turned on, the brightness of the display will be reduced. You can adjust the brightness of the display. To adjust the brightness, see "Instrument panel light control" on page 134. (c) Outside temperature ("OUTSIDE TEMP") Outside display. temperature appears on the CAUTION Be sure to adjust the display only when the vehicle is stopped. (a) Odometer and two trip meters The odometer and two trip meters appear on the display. See "-Odometer and two trip meters" on page 154 for details. (b) Energy monitor The operating condition of the hybrid system appears on the display. See "Energy monitor" on page 2 for details. The displayed temperature ranges from −30_C (−22_F) up to 50_C (122_F). If the temperature does not appear on the display or it shows "−−", take your vehicle to your Toyota dealer. (d) Current fuel consumption ("CURRENT") The current fuel consumption is calculated and displayed based on distance and fuel consumption for 2 seconds.
