'07 Corolla_U (L/O 0608) Toyota vehicle intrusion protection system (TVIP) CAUTION D Always lock the trunk lid and all doors, and keep away the vehicle keys out of children's reach. D Never leave children unattended in the vehicle. Unsupervised children may lock themselves in the vehicle or trunk and suffer serious injuries or death. TVIP is a theft deterrent system. If someone attempts to damage or break into your vehicle, the system sounds the alarm while flashing the lights. SETTING THE SYSTEM You can set the system as follows. 1. Remove switch. the key from the ignition The indicator light will start flashing when the key is removed from the ignition switch. (See "Engine immobilizer system" on page 12 for details.) 2.
