SAFETY AND EMERGENCY FEATURES Seat belts Take up slack Too high Doors-Child safety locks Rear door OVERVIEW Moving the lever to "LOCK" will allow the door to be opened only from the outside. Keep as low on hips as possible If belt is fully extended, then retracted even slightly, it cannot be reextended beyond that point, unless fully retracted again. This feature is used to help hold child restraint systems securely. To find more information about seat belts, and how to install a child restraint system, refer to the Owner's Manual. Spare tire & tools Tool location Spare tire Front towing eyelet Jack handle Wheel nut wrench Adapter socket Jack Seat belts-Shoulder belt anchor Squeeze lock release to lower FEATURES/OPERATIONS Removing the spare tire Tire Pressure Warning System reset Push and hold to reset Remove the cover under the center deck board to find the spare tire clamp bolt. Put the adapter socket on the spare tire clamp bolt. Loosen the bolt by turning it counterclockwise with the jack handle. Refer to the Owner's Manual for tire changing and jack positioning procedures. SAFETY AND EMERGENCY FEATURES Designed to provide warning when tire pressure of any one of the tires is critically reduced while the vehicle is moving. System must be reset after adjusting tire inflation or replacing/rotating tires or wheels. If indicator stays on or continues to blink after efforts to reset, have it checked at your Toyota dealer. 18 19
