Steps to take in an emergency Warning light Warning light/Details Automatic transmission fluid temperature warning light • When the light comes on: Indicates that the automatic transmission fluid temperature is too high. • When the light flashes: Indicates a malfunction in the automatic transmission fluid temperature warning system. Power steering warning light Indicates a malfunction in the variable flow control power steering system. Follow the correction procedures. After taking the specified steps to correct the suspected problem, check that the warning light turns off. Warning light Warning light/Details Correction procedure Open door warning light (warning buzzer)*1 Indicates that a door or back door is not fully closed. 5 Check that all doors are closed.
