Access levels provide read or read/write permissions to users for configuring the switch. Users and access levels are described in Configuring System Access Section. Login information is always handled in the local database. A unique password is required of each user. Two access levels exist on the 3Com Web Interface: ■ Management access level - Provides the user with read/write access. There is always one management level user configured for the switch. The factory default is be username: admin with no Password. ■ Monitor access level - Provides the user with read-only access.
