Hotkeys Hotkeys or function key combinations can be used to access computer control functions such as screen brightness, volume, and multimedia playback controls. These control functions are indicated by the blue icons on the keyboard. To activate the hotkeys, press and hold the key or the key and then press the other key in the combination.
