Installing an AirPort Card You can purchase an AirPort Card from your Apple-authorized dealer or from the Apple Store at www.apple.com/store and install it yourself or have it installed by an Apple-authorized service provider. To install an AirPort Card in your PowerBook, follow these steps: 1 Shut down your computer. Disconnect the power adapter, phone cord, and any other cables connected to the computer. 2 Place a towel or soft cloth on a table in front of you. The towel or cloth will protect the keyboard and display of the PowerBook when you flip it over. Make sure that it covers an area large enough for your PowerBook and that it also hangs over the edge of the table. 3 With the display open, carefully flip the PowerBook over and rest it on the edge of a table. To install an AirPort Card in your PowerBook, follow these steps:
