Do not attach/remove accessory when unit is running.

Battery Installation (Fig. B)

1. Remove the battery cover by pressing the release tab

and

pulling the battery cover off as shown in Figure B.

2. Insert four fresh AA batteries making sure to match (+) and

(-) terminals correctly and reinstall the battery cover. Ensure

that the battery cover is tightly secured.

WARNING:

Batteries can explode, or leak, and

can cause injury or fire. To reduce this risk:

•

Carefully follow all instructions and warnings on the battery

label and package.

•

Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+

and -), marked on the battery and the equipment.

•

Do not short battery terminals.

•

Do not charge batteries.

•

Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace all of them at the

same time with new batteries of the same brand and type.

•

Remove dead batteries immediately and dispose of per

local codes.

•

Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

•

Keep batteries out of reach of children.

•

Remove batteries if the device will not be used for

several months.

•

Transporting batteries can possibly cause fires if the battery

terminals inadvertently come in contact with conductive

materials such as keys, coins, hand tools and the like. The

US Department of Transportation Hazardous Material

Regulations (HMR) actually prohibit transporting batteries

in commerce or on airplanes (i.e. packed in suitcases and

carryon luggage) UNLESS they are properly protected from

short circuits. So when transporting individual batteries,

make sure that the battery terminals are protected and

well insulated from materials that could contact them and

cause a short circuit.

Do not attach/remove accessory when unit is running.

NOTE:

Refer to product packaging for a complete list of the

accessories that are included with the specific Power Scrubber

model you purchased.

1. To connect an attachment, line up the shape of the end of

the accessory with the shaft and firmly push it on, (Fig. D)

until it snaps in place. Ensure that it does not disengage.

2. To remove an attachment, simply pull it off.

Cleaning

1. Move the appliance in a circular pattern. Do not hold the

appliance in one spot for too long.

Tips on Cleaning Agents

IMPORTANT:

The power scrubber has been designed for

easy, powerful cleaning. If you are uncertain about its use on

a surface, test an attachment on a small inconspicuous area

before cleaning larger areas.

•

Always follow manufacturer’s recommendations when

using a chemical cleaner such as sprays, foams, rub-on gels,

liquid detergents, or bleach solutions.

•

Do not use with abrasive cleaners on any surface or in

the unit.

Always wear rubber gloves and protective eye wear (to

avoid splatter) when using irritating cleaners.

Always read the manufacturer’ instructions on the cleaning

agent you us. Do not use the appliance with abrasive

cleaning agents. Do not use with Bleach or ammonia based

cleaning products.

Wear gloves and eye protection

when using aggressive chemical cleaners.

If you are unsure about using this appliance on a particular

surface, test it first on a small inconspicuous patch.

Cleaning and Storage

Attachments are top rack, dishwasher safe.

1. Clean the brushes and scrub sponges in a mild detergent,

rinse with water and air dry.

Installation des piles (Fig. B)

1. Déposer le couvercle du compartiment des piles en

appuyant sur sa languette de déclenchement

et en tirant

sur celui-ci comme montré à la figure B.

2. Insérer quatre piles AA neuves en vous assurant de relier

correctement les bornes (+) et (-) puis replacer le couvercle.

S’assurer que le couvercle est bien enclenché.

les piles peuvent

exploser ou fuir et causer des blessures ou un incendie. Pour

réduire cette possibilité :

•

Suivre toutes les directives et avertissements sur l’étiquette

ou l’emballage des piles.

•

Toujours respecter les polarités + et - du raccordement.

Ne pas court-circuiter les bornes des piles.

Ne pas recharger les piles.

•

Ne pas mélanger des piles neuves avec des piles usagées.

Remplacer toutes les piles en même temps par des piles

Les piles transportées ont le potentiel de causer un

incendie si leurs bornes viennent en contact avec des

pièces conductrices telles les clés, les pièces de monnaie,

les outils ou autres objets métalliques. La réglementation

HMR (Hazardous Material Regulations) du DOT (Department

of Transportation) des É.-U. interdit en fait le transport de

piles dans les véhicules commerciaux ou les avions (par ex.

dans les valises ou sacs fourre-tout) À MOINS qu’ils sont

adéquatement protégés des court-circuits. Alors, pour le

transport de piles, s’assurer que leurs bornes sont protégées

1. Pour fixer un gréement, aligner l’arbre de l’outil sur celui-ci

en mariant la forme de l’arbre au trou et presser fermement

les deux parties ensemble pour les unir (Fig. D) (Un déclic

devrait être entendu). S’assurer que l’accessoire ne puisse

le libérer.

2. Pour retirer la brosse, tirer simplement sur celle-ci.
