ON This allows you to switch on the Video Recorder playback and the system will automatically detect the Video Recorder has been switched on for playback. OFF The playback detection is disabled. You can select the Video Recorder playback by accessing the main menu and selecting "SWITCH TO PLAYBACK VIEW" FOLLOW DISPLAY The Video Recorder will record the same image(s) as displayed on the monitor, (e.g. if the camera image is changed on the monitor, this image is also recorded on the Video Recorder). MULTIPLEXING All camera images are recorded in a fast sequence at full resolution. AUDIO SOURCE Select the camera from which the audio will be recorded (camera 1 to 8). VIDEO OUT The default mode is MULTIPLEXING which is used for recording. During playback, you can select FOLLOW PLAYBACK so that the playback images being displayed are sent to Video Out. SWITCH CAMERA AFTER 1VEXT/2VEXT VEXT is a synchronization pulse coming from the video recorder to the multiplexer. With every VEXT pulse the Multiplexer sends the next camera image to the recorder. If you select 2VEXT, after 2 pulses the next image is sent to the recorder. Note The default mode is 1VEXT. For applications where you want to playback time lapse recordings at real-time speed, you have to select 2VEXT for recording. INTERLEAVE On / Off In interleave mode an alarm camera is recorded more frequently. This provides alarm images with a higher update rate. For ALARM/ MOTION and DOORBELL activities you can switch interleaving ON or OFF and the duration time can be programmed between 5 sec. and 5 min. 2.4.7 Remote Surveillance This enables the system to use functionality available with a remote surveillance unit. 2.4.6 Recorder
You can set up the Video Recorder from the system
