To use the system out doors: • Make sure to set it on a firm and level surface. • Keep the system away from sand, dirt, and other debris that can jam the dock and keep it from opening properly. To take the power supply along: 1. Press the button below the power supply adapter to remove the adapter. 2. Wind the cable around the groove along the top of the power supply. 3. Move the small round ball as needed to fix the cable in place. This requires a cable with a 3.5mm mini plug at one end. 1. Set the audio device to slightly below full volume, then plug it into the AUDIO IN connector. 2. Remove your iPod/iPhone to hear the device play. 3. Adjust the volume using buttons on the system dock or the remote control volume buttons. Other buttons on the remote do not control this second device. To return to listening to your iPod/iPhone, reinsert it into the dock. 7

Using a another audio device

Set the audio device to slightly below full volume, then
plug it into the AUDIO IN connector.

Remove your iPod/iPhone to hear the device play.
3.
Adjust the volume using buttons on the system dock or
the remote control volume buttons.
Other buttons on the remote do not control this second
device. To return to listening to your iPod/iPhone, reinsert
it into the dock.
