3 For most documents the default setting of Auto will give the best results. Auto automatically chooses a suitable contrast for your document. If your document is very light or dark, changing the contrast may improve the quality of the fax. Use Dark to make the faxed document lighter. Chapter 3 Dual access 3 You can dial a number and start scanning the fax into memory-even when the machine is sending from memory, receiving faxes or printing PC data. The LCD will show the new job number. . When you replace the toner cartridge or the drum unit, make sure that you clean the inside of the machine. If printed pages are stained with toner, clean the inside of the machine with a dry, lint-free cloth.
