Troubleshooting Other problems 6 For Macintosh with USB 6 Problem Recommendation The machine does not appear in Printer Setup Utility (Mac OS X 10.4.11) or Print & Fax in System Preferences (Mac OS X 10.5.x and 10.6.x).  Make sure the machine is powered on and that there are no error messages on the LCD.  Make sure that the USB interface cable is connected directly to the Macintosh and that it is connected to the USB port of the machine.  Make sure the printer driver is installed correctly. Unable to print from the application.  Make sure that the supplied Macintosh printer driver is installed in the Hard Disk and that it is chosen with Printer Setup Utility (Mac OS X 10.4.11) or Print & Fax in System Preferences (Mac OS X 10.5.x and 10.6.x). 6 BR-Script 3 6 Problem The print speed slows down. The machine cannot print EPS data that includes binary. Recommendation Add optional memory. (See Installing extra memory on page 86.)
