APPENDIX Replace the sewing light bulb. d Cleaning the shuttle race a bulb b Loosen c Tighten Attach the face plate and fasten the screw e again. CAUTION ● Be sure to unplug the machine before cleaning it, otherwise injuries or an electric shock may occur. Turn off the machine and unplug it. a Raise the needle and the presser foot, and b then remove the presser foot and the needle. Remove the flat bed attachment and open the c shuttle cover at the front of the free arm. Remove the bobbin case by pulling its latch d toward you and pulling it out from the shuttle race. Cleaning the machine surface If the surface of the machine is dirty, lightly soak a cloth in neutral detergent, squeeze it out firmly, and then wipe the surface of the machine. After cleaning it once with a wet cloth, wipe it again with a dry cloth.
