Caution phrases E The camcorder displays various caution phrases - they appear for 4 seconds before disappearing. Appears each time you turn the power on, until you set the time zone, date and time ( 53). SET THE TIME ZONE, DATE AND TIME Appears as a warning to protect the cassette and also when condensation is detected. Remove the cassette as soon as possible after the camcorder has displayed the caution. Refer to p. 89 REMOVE THE CASSETTE Appears when the battery pack is exhausted ( 134). CHANGE THE BATTERY PACK COPYRIGHT PROTECTED PLAYBACK IS RESTRICTED Appears when the tape has reached the end. TAPE END Refer to p. 89, p. 90 or p. 92 COPYRIGHT PROTECTED DUBBING RESTRICTED Refer to p.19 THE TAPE IS SET FOR ERASURE PREVENTION Appears when, during DV dubbing, the DV cable is disconnected or the power of the digital equipment connected to the camcorder is turned off. CHECK THE DV INPUT Refer to p. 140 CONDENSATION HAS BEEN DETECTED Appears when you try to do audio dubbing or AV insert on a tape recorded in any mode other than SP mode ( 94, 97). CHECK THE CASSETTE [REC MODE] Appears when you try to do audio dubbing on a tape recorded in 16-bit audio or 12-bit, 4-channel mode ( 97).
