Install the Software Install the Application Programs After finished installing the scanner driver, continue to install the application programs. First start with Adobe Photoshop Elements. Align the film guide's mark with the scanner's mark. • Images will not scan correctly, or error messages will display, if the film guide is positioned incorrectly. Guide to the Software ScanGear CS-U ScanGear CS-U is the specialized scanner driver (TWAIN driver) that allows you to scan and load images from the scanner. How to Start ScanGear CS-U ScanGear CS-U is not a stand-alone program that can be started by itself. It is used as a TWAIN driver.
