3 Setting Custom FunctionsN 2: SET:Flash exp comp When you press , the flash exposure compensation screen appears so you can quickly change the setting. 3: SET:Playback When you press , the images recorded in the CF card will be played back. C.Fn-2 Long exp. noise reduction This is effective for minimizing noise in images exposed for 1 sec. or longer. 0: Off 1: Auto For 1 sec. or longer exposures, noise reduction is performed automatically if noise peculiar to long exposures is detected. This [Auto] setting is effective in most cases. 2: On Noise reduction is performed for all exposures 1 sec. or longer. This setting may be effective for noise that cannot be detected or reduced with the [Auto] setting. After the picture is taken, the noise reduction process will take the same amount of time as the exposure. You cannot take another picture until the noise reduction process is completed. 103
