Use the BP-945 with the 910/920 Series Power Accessories (compact power

adapter, car battery adapter, dual battery charger/holder).

If you use the 900 Series CA-900, CB-900 or CH-900, the charge indicator may go out before the battery pack

reaches full charge. To ensure a full charge, remove then reattach the battery pack. The charge indicator will

blink at first, then glow steadily upon full charge. If the charge indicator goes out the second time you attach the

battery pack, there may be a problem. Consult your dealer or Canon service center.

Charge the battery pack before you use it.

Your battery pack was partially charged before it left the factory. It should have enough power for you to

check that your Canon equipment is working properly. However, you must charge the battery pack fully

if you want more than a few minutes of power.

For details, refer to the instructions provided with your charger.

Charging and operating times

You will get more usage time if you turn the product off when it is not in operation.

Charging and operating times vary – the safest policy is always to have two or three times as many

battery packs as you think you will need.

F). Operating time will be shorter than usual at low temperatures like a ski ground. For better operating

results, the battery pack can be warmed in your pocket or someplace and then used.

If the battery pack starts to give you much less operating time than usual (at normal temperatures) it

has reached the end of its life and must be replaced.

When to recharge

You can recharge a lithium ion battery pack whenever it is convenient. Unlike a conventional battery pack, it

does not have to be fully discharged first. However, as the battery pack will naturally discharge itself over

time, it is best to charge it the same day you plan to use it, or the day before.

In addition, there is the possibility of damage to the battery pack and reduced usage time if fully

charged batteries are stored for a period of months.

Always attach the terminal cover.

Do not allow any metal objects to touch the terminals (Figure A), as this can cause a short circuit and damage the

battery pack. Attach the terminal cover whenever the battery pack is not being used (Figure B).

Keep the terminals clean.

The battery pack, charger or the product itself will not work properly if the terminals are dirty. Check

them before use, and wipe them with a dry cloth or tissue if necessary.

Disconnect the battery pack when you are not using it.

Even when it is turned off, the product the battery pack is attached to will continue to slowly drain power

from the battery pack.

充電してください。充電ランプが点滅し、再充電後、点灯すれば充電完了です。充電ランプが点滅し

た後、ランプが消える場合は異常ですので、キヤノンサービスセンターにお問い合わせください。

Utiliser le BP-945 avec les accessoires d’alimentation série 910/920 (adaptateur secteur

compact, adaptateur pour batterie de voiture, chargeur/boîtier de batterie double).

Si l’on utilise le CA-900, le CB-900 ou le CH-900 de la série 900, il se peut que l’indicateur de charge s’éteigne

avant que la batterie ne soit complètement rechargée. Pour assurer une recharge complète, retirer, puis

rebrancher la batterie rechargeable. L’indicateur de charge clignote d’abord, puis il s’allume de façon continue

lorsque la recharge est complète. Si l’indicateur de charge s’éteint une seconde fois lorsque la batterie est

raccordée, il peut s’agir d’un problème. Consulter votre concessionnaire ou votre centre après-vente Canon.

Chargez la batterie d’alimentation avant de l’utiliser.

Si la batterie d’alimentation commence à vous accorder un temps de fonctionnement moins long (par températures

normales), cela signifie que la durée de vie de celle-ci est presque épuisée et qu’elle doit être remplacée.

Quand recharger

Vous pouvez recharger une batterie d’alimentation ionique au lithium chaque fois que cela vous convient

le mieux. Contrairement à une batterie d’alimentation conventionnelle, elle ne doit pas être tout d’abord

complétement déchargée. Cependant,comme la batterie se décharge progressivement avec le temps, il

est recommandé de la recharger le jour de l’utilisation ou la veille.

De plus, la batterie d’alimentation peut se détériorer ou son autonomie se réduire si elle est conservée à

l’état chargé pendant plusieurs mois sans l’utiliser.

Fixez toujours le capuchon des bornes.

Ne laissez pas d’objets métalliques en contact avec les bornes (voir figure A), cela peut provoquer un

court-circuit et endommager la batterie d’alimentation. Fixez le capuchon des bornes lorsque vous

n’utilisez pas la batterie (voir figure B).

Maintenez les bornes en parfait état de propreté.

La batterie d’alimentation, le chargeur ou le produit proprement dit ne fonctionneront pas correctement

si les bornes sont sales. Vérifiez-les avant d’utiliser l’appareil et essuyez-les avec un chiffon sec ou du

papier soie, si nécessaire.

Débranchez la batterie d’alimentation lorsque vous ne l’utilisez pas.

Même si l’appareil est éteint, il continuera de tirer du courant de la batterie si elle reste attachée.

Si vous prévoyez de ne pas utiliser une batterie d’alimentation pendant quelque temps, déchargez-la

complètement avant de la débrancher
