Returning the Camera to Default Settings When you have mistakenly changed a setting, you can reset the camera to the default settings. Display the menu. ∆ Press the n button. Choose [Reset All]. ∆ Press the qr buttons to choose the 3 tab. ∆ Press the op buttons or turn the - dial to choose [Reset All], then press the m button. Reset the settings. ∆ Press the qr buttons or turn the - dial to choose [OK] and press the m button. The camera will reset to the default settings. Are there functions that cannot be reset? • The [Date/Time] (p. 19) in the 3 tab, [Language] (p. 21), [Video System] (p. 168), [Time Zone] (p. 146), and the image registered in [Start-up Image] (p. 143). • The saved data for custom white balance (p. 76). • Colors that were chosen in Color Accent (p. 95) or Color Swap (p. 96). • Shooting modes set with the mode switch set to 4 or E (p. 54). 50
