• If the memory card you insert already contains a file with a larger number, a new file will be assigned a number one higher than that of the last file on the memory card. • We recommend using the [n Continuous] setting. • Folder names, on the other hand, appear in a format such as "101_0501". The first three digits indicate the folder number and the last four digits indicate the month and day (May 1, for the example folder above). In the same example, a recording with a file number of "101-0107" is saved in the folder DCIM\101_0501 with a file name of "MVI_0107.MP4" (for MP4 movies) or "IMG_0107.JPG" (for photos). • Folders can contain up to 500 files (MP4 movies and photos combined) and a new folder is created every time a folder exceeds this number. • The first three digits of the file number range from 100 to 999 and the last four digits range from 0001 to 9900. File numbers are automatically assigned consecutive numbers. [Power On Using LCD Panel]: If set to [Enable], opening the LCD panel turns the camcorder on while closing the LCD panel turns it off. Set to [Off] to deactivate this feature. In either case, you can still use . [Firmware]: You can verify the current version of the camcorder's firmware, which is the software that controls the camcorder. This menu option is usually unavailable. [Reset All]: Resets all of the camcorder's settings. Additional Information 153
