6/4 Selecting the Memory (Built-in Memory/Memory Card) for Recordings You can select to record your movies and photos in the built-in memory or on a memory card. The default memory for recording both is the built-in memory. Operating modes: SCN > [ Recording Setup] > [Recording Media] > [v Rec Media for Movies] or [{ Rec Media for Photos] > Desired memory > [K] > [K] > [X] 6/4 Dual Recording and Relay Recording When you record, you can use dual recording to record an MP4 movie that has the same image as the scene being recorded. The MP4 movie is saved on the memory not currently selected for recording. Because the resulting movie is in MP4 format, it is ideal for transferring to another device or uploading to the Web. You can activate the relay recording so if the assigned memory becomes full while recording movies, the recording will continue uninterrupted on the other memory. You can select to record your movies and photos in the built-in mem-
ory or on a memory card. The default memory for recording both is the
built-in memory.

Dual Recording and Relay Recording
When you record, you can use dual recording to record an MP4 movie
that has the same image as the scene being recorded. The MP4 movie
is saved on the memory not currently selected for recording. Because

You can activate the relay recording so if the assigned memory
