2-Sided Printing 2-Sided Printing This mode enables you to make 2-sided printing. You can cut down print costs by half when copying in large quantities. - For details on the printer driver settings, see Online Help. - The following procedures are explained using sample screens from Windows 2000. The display may differ depending on the operating system, as well as the type and version of the printer drivers. - Most settings of printing are made from the printer driver. Although there are some settings which can be made from the machine, the settings from the printer driver have priority. - Make sure to close the sub-output tray before performing 2-sided printing. - Do not open the sub-output tray while performing 2-sided printing. - When performing 2-sided printing, make sure to confirm that the paper size switch lever on the rear side of the machine is set to the appropriate position. Paper jams may occur if the lever is not set appropriately. For details on how to set the paper size switch lever, see "Setting the Paper Size Switch Lever," on p. 2-16. - Only LTR, A4, and LGL size paper can be used for 2-sided printing. 1 Display the [Finishing] sheet.
