Maintenance This chapter describes how to clean and maintain the scanner. Daily Cleaning To ensure high-quality image scanning, regularly clean your CR-50/80 as described below. WARNING Do not use flammable liquids to clean the scanner, including alcohol, benzene, or paint thinner. 3 Spin the rollers while wiping them clean with a firmly wrung cloth dampened with water or a mild detergent. Adjusting the Separation Roller Gap If double feed should occur too often, adjust the Separation Roller gap according to the following procedure. IMPORTANT • Make sure that the size, thickness, and weight of your document meets the conditions of this scanner.
